Senior Construction Project Manager
NYC S&E Access Solutions by BrandSafway
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage assigned projects from contract award through final close-out.
+ Lead project planning, scheduling, manpower forecasting, and equipment coordination.
+ Serve as primary point of accountability for project execution, safety, schedule, and financial performance.
+ Ensure compliance with BrandSafway safety standards, Life-Saving Rules, and site-specific safety plans.
+ Manage NYC DOB permitting for scaffolds, sidewalk sheds, hoists, and suspended access systems.
+ Ensure full compliance with NYC Chapter 33, public protection requirements, and applicable Local Laws.
+ Coordinate DOB inspections, permit renewals, amendments, close-outs, and resolution of violations.
+ Interface with regulatory agencies including DOB, DOT, FDNY, and other Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
+ Coordinate with Engineering, Sales, Operations, Yard, and Field Supervision to ensure scope alignment and execution readiness.
+ Develop and manage project budgets, monitor labor, equipment, and material costs.
+ Maintain ownership of project financial performance, including margin protection and cost recovery.
+ Identify scope changes and risk exposure; prepare, price, and manage change orders.
+ Review contract terms, riders, and project requirements; escalate risks as appropriate.
+ Support billing, progress invoicing, retention tracking, and final project close-out activities.
+ Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and reporting.
+ Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, general contractors, owners, and consultants.
+ Provide leadership, oversight, and mentorship to colleagues
+ Support onboarding and development of project staff in alignment with NYC execution standards.
+ Represent S&E Access Solutions and BrandSafway professionally on assigned projects.
Qualifications:
+ High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, profession journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
+ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
+ Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
+ Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in the situations where only limited standardization exits.
+ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
+ To perform this job successfully, and individual should have knowledge of Microsoft: Word/ Excel/Teams/Outlook, Bluebeam, Construction PM software. MS Project experience is a plus.
+ Valid driver's license.
