    Maintenance Mechanic

    **Location:** Huntersville, NC

    **Pay:** Based on experience

     

    Are you a skilled Maintenance Mechanic ready to take the lead in keeping equipment and operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a **Maintenance Mechanic** to join our team in Charlotte. In this role, you’ll use your mechanical and electrical expertise to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production, fabrication, and facility equipment — helping keep our plant running at top performance.

    What You’ll Do

    + Troubleshoot, evaluate, and repair equipment and systems

    + Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment

    + Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and recommend solutions

    + Work with contractors and vendors on projects and sourcing parts

    + Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and electrical schematics

    + Support automation and PLC troubleshooting when needed

    + Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies

    + Ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization in the work area

    What We’re Looking For

    + High School Diploma or GED required

    + **5+ years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience** in a manufacturing environment

    + Ability to read electrical schematics and perform basic electrical troubleshooting

    + Hands-on experience with automation, relay logic, and PLCs is a plus

    + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision

    + Must be available for overtime and occasional off-shift support

    Physical & Work Environment

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, bending, reaching, and crawling

    + Work around machinery, electrical systems, and moderate noise levels

    + May require work in confined spaces, at heights, or outdoors in various conditions

    + Safety gear provided (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, etc.)
