    Position Title: Medical Lab Technician

    **Location:** Panama City, FL

    **Position Type:** Allied Health

    **Shift:** Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with rotating weekends

    **Positions Available:** 1

    **Pay Range:** $22.66 – $30.54 per hour, depending on experience

    **Shift Differentials:** Evenings $1.45/hr, Nights $2.50/hr

    **Bonus:** Sign-On $15,000

    **Relocation Assistance:** Case by case

    Position Overview

    The Medical Lab Technician performs technical laboratory functions in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology. This role ensures accurate and timely test results, maintains laboratory equipment, and supports quality control processes. The technician works collaboratively with the lab team and clinical staff to provide accurate diagnostic information for patient care.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests following established protocols

    + Report test results accurately and notify appropriate staff of critical or abnormal results

    + Ensure quality control and proper specimen handling, labeling, and storage

    + Maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory equipment and instruments

    + Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

    + Assist with training or mentoring less experienced lab personnel as needed

    Qualifications

    + MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification required

    + Florida State Medical Laboratory Technician license (or applied/licensed)

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree or higher preferred

    + Prior laboratory experience preferred; clinical experience or work as a lab assistant is a plus

    + Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow protocols

    **Pay Details:** $22.66 to $30.54 per hour
