As a On Call Response Officer, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position.
Other duties may be assigned
+ SRO's will be assigned to train at 3 locations extending across the Greater Richmond area.
+ Shifts of 8 – 12 hours
+ Must be able to accept last-minute assignments due to call-offs or No Call No Shows
+ Handle calls for service; intake of media and emergency calls
+ Complete daily reporting; incident Report input and approval
+ Notification elevation, upon approval; mass notification/Everbridge
+ Conduct travel security reviews
+ Red Tag/Hot Works reporting
+ Ensure timely and effective response to incidents, alarms, notifications, calls, and other activities related to the Security Operations Center and its role as a central alarm monitoring station
+ Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from employees, outside vendors, law enforcement, and the security field force via telephone, automated alarm monitoring and radio systems
+ Process and evaluate information received from all available sources, and respond with the appropriate communication and dispatch procedures
+ Coordinate with Security Operations Center staff to provide necessary documentation in support of uniformed guard force activity (e.g., Officer Dispatch, Incident Reporting, etc.)

Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
+ Must pass a skills-based assessment called “Criticall”, which is administered after successful completion of the interview process.
+ Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:
+ Work experience must include of the following:
+ Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills and ability to prepare reports
+ Ability to use logic and reasoning to reach conclusions and approaches to problem solving
+ Demonstrated high level of competency with advanced computer systems (e.g., hardware, software, and networks)
+ Ability to communicate effectively with IT and Security Systems professionals
+ Demonstrated ability to operate radio, telephone equipment and/or console monitors
+ Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment while possibly working under pressure

+ Associate degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Communications, or related field
+ Verifiable and successful security experience
+ Professional training and/or education in one or more of the following:
+ Customer service
+ Dispatch operations
+ Security and/or emergency services
+ Documented experience and competency in the following Security Software Systems:
+ Access Control/ID systems (e.g., ProWatch)
+ Alarm Receiving Automation software (e.g., Onyx Works)
+ Incident Management and computer assisted dispatch software
+ CCTV/Video Management systems (e.g., MaxPro)
+ Mass Notification systems (specifically, Everbridge)
+ Business Intelligence and Travel Tracking (e.g., iJet and NC4)
+ Experience in a modern 911 Call Center, Central Station Alarm Monitoring, or Dispatch Operation, Technical Security Control Room, or similar environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:
+ Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected
+ Major activity: Working on PC and using telephone/radio while sitting
+ Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, and limited stretching and reaching
+ Must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law
