    Basic Job Functions:

    Nucor is looking for a Video Production Assistant to join our growing corporate communications team in Charlotte, North Carolina. Nucor is North Americas largest steel manufacturer and recycler.

     

    The successful candidate is a team player who can deliver impactful, media solutions across multiple channels. This individual also possesses a communication mindset and the ability to think and create content across all disciplines. The ideal candidate has the skill set to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

    The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

    + Assists in video editing tasks, including assembling footage, adding graphics and sound mixing.

    + Operating video cameras, lighting equipment and audio gear in studio and on-location.

    + Assist social media team to produce and edit video and photo content.

    + Performs captioning, subtitling and formatting videos for various platforms.

    + Works with senior producer to develop, write, and produce a variety of media

    + Coordinates the research and planning for on-location shoots.

    + Aids in script development and storyboarding process.

    + Acts as still photographer and/or assists photographer during photo shoots.

    + Helps manage equipment inventory and ensuring proper maintenance.

     

    This role will report to the Creative Manager.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelors degree in design or a related field

    + 1-3 years of professional content creation

    + Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Premier, After Effects and Photoshop

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience creating content for manufacturing or steel products industry

    + Experience creating content for branded social media accounts

    + Direct experience in B2B marketing
