    Delta is looking for a leader to leverage advanced analytics

    and data analysis to understand the needs of a varied workforce from a

    total health (physical, mental health and social/family) perspective and

    partner across the organization to create a strategy to ensure best-in-class

    health and wellness programs, utilizing new technologies, artificial

    intelligence, data strategies and innovative partnerships.

     

    This position will report to the Chief Health Officer, lead a

    team of data scientists and analytics experts, and partner with teams in human

    resources, corporate safety, operations, data analytics/science, customer

    experience, information technology, innovation, and strategy.

    Summary of core responsibilities:

    + Supportand execute the Delta Flight Plan for our people, our customers, ourpartners and communities, and our owners

    + Supportthe long-term Health and Wellness Strategy leveraging advanced analytics,innovation and best practices in Corporate Health Programs

    + Establishand lead team with capabilities to conduct analyses of wellness andpopulation health data sources

    + Developreporting and visualizations to support decision making and partnershipwith stakeholders

    + Establishdata sources needed to support wellness and population health analytics

    + Identifygaps and opportunities to enhance health and wellbeing of our employeesand to ensure the highest quality care including outcomes, safety,experience, access, equity and timeliness

    + Partnerwith HR to optimize health benefits including health benefit plan design,health rewards, and healthy behaviors

    + Leveragehealth data analytics platform to inform business unit strategies,partnering with external entities to identify proven solutions and bestpractices in corporate safety, operations and employee health

    + Leverageartificial intelligence, machine learning, technology, wearables, andpersonalized health data to enhance health and wellbeing

    + Provideanalytics and insights to partner with HR Total Rewards and benefits teamon the design and evaluation novel approaches to health benefit design andinnovate approaches to employee health and well being

    + Testnew models of healthcare delivery and develop approaches to continuouslymeasure employee perception of healthcare, health and wellbeing

    + Partnerwith external companies providing new and novel approaches to healthincluding leveraging wearables and multiple sources of data to improvehealth and wellbeing

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

    + PhDor equivalent in health services research, population health, statistics,public health, or healthcare administration and 10 years of experience usingadvanced analytics for clinical and claims databases and leading advancedanalytics teams including PhD and master’s level data scientists, and dataprogrammers

    + Extensiveexperience identifying gaps in healthcare delivery/equity/population health,designing and evaluating interventions and innovations, and deployinginterventions at scale

    + Trackrecord of success working in a highly matrixed organization partnering withteams across multiple business units

    + Stronginterpersonal skills – able to work effectively and build consensus with fellowemployees, senior leaders, and external organizations

    + Strongwritten and oral communication skills; able to produce strategic, concisedocuments and presentations for senior leaders and external audiences in aclear and compelling manner

    + Proficientin data analysis, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and comfortable learningnew technology solutions that may be required

    + Consistentlyprioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

    + Embracesdiverse people, thinking, and styles.

    + Possessesa high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

    + Isat least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

    + Demonstratedexperience and proficiency leading Corporate or Divisional level programs:

    + Ability to integrate a broad range ofinternal and external factors when making decisions and the ability to workunder uncertainty

    + Process orientated with excellentorganizational and project management skills

    + Ability to analyze complex problems or trendsand develop innovative solutions

    + Critical thinker with an ability to navigateambiguity

    + Capable of working under pressure andmanaging several projects consecutively

    What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

    + PhDor equivalent in health services research, population health, statistics,public health, or healthcare administration

    + Employerhealthcare and pharmacy program administration, management and innovation

    + Knowledgeof workers compensation and occupational health programs, OSHA regulations andother standards relevant to large scale operations
