    Job Summary

    + The Landscape Construction Laborer utilizes hand and/or power tools or equipment to perform a wide range of landscape construction duties.

    + **This role may require extensive travel, including over night stays. Travel expenses are covered by the company.**

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Manually excavate with shovel

    + Hand tool use including wheelbarrow

    + Load & unload materials

    + Experience with planting, grading and sodding.

    Education and Experience:

    + Landscape Construction experience helpful, but not necessary.

    Physical Demands/Requirements:

    + Ability to use manual hand tools such as shovels for extended period.

    + Ability to move soil, equipment, and materials, dig holes, and plant trees, shrubs, and flowers.

    + Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.

    + Ability to load/unload semi trucks

    + Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day.

    Work Environment:

    + Ability to work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic.

    + Ability to work near or about natural bodies of water.

    + Ability to work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)

    + Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

    + Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
