    o Responsible for purchasing products from a portfolio of vendors (raw material, components, finished goods …)

    o Evaluate material requirement planning based on customer demand and productions data (lead-times, transport, capacity …)

    o Place Purchase Orders

    o Manage purchase orders acknowledgements and register delivery confirmation date in the ERP

    o Monitor the deliveries from vendors – when required organize freight and track in transit materials

    o Support receiving department in resolution of receiving issues

    o Identify and anticipate shortages (current or future)

    o Evaluate the impact of shortages

    o Expedite manufacturing with the vendors and make special freight arrangement when required

    o Responsible for maintaining desired inventory levels for assigned materials

    o Coordinate and conduct business review meetings with key suppliers

    o Promote supplier adherence to schedules and execute 1st level crisis management when needed

    o Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts; report non-conformance

    o Adjust the procurement plan to the products manufacturing settings (yield, lead-times, …) – understands the manufacturing process for the products in the vendors portfolio

    o Adjust the procurement plan to the products quality requirements (industrialization, risk release, concession rates …)

    o Calculate vendors performance (OTD, DOD, commit adherence)

    o Use autonomously of all usual transactions in the ERP (SAP ECC) and procurement software.

    o Set up materials in the ERP and detect anomalies

    o Plan and execute inter-company sales per demand plan

    o Arrange for and authorize the return of rejected material to suppliers

    o Interface with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to achieve quality and cost goals

    o Expected travel around 10%
