    Job Purpose & Scope

     

    Responsible for partnering with Enterprise Analytics, technology, and line of business teams to analyze, evaluate, refine, and improve processes. Supports a range of Enterprise Analytics applications and processes and manages active projects across business groups.

     

    Essential Job Functions

     

    + Leads and manages Enterprise Analytics projects and programs, collaborating with Lines of Business, Technology, Quantitative Modeling, and second line of defense to ensure projects address business needs and comply with project management principles and practices.

    + Performs an array of business analytics to include assessing business needs and identifying desired outcomes, formulating scoped and viable options, thoroughly documenting requirements, participating in systems design work, building and executing test plans, and supporting enterprise analytics and technology related implementation planning activities and events.

    + Actively participates in project planning activities including deliverables, milestones, timelines, project assignments and constraints/dependencies.

    + Identifies, communicates, and mitigates risks and opportunities.

    + Creates and delivers project presentations and artifacts, as needed.

    + Partners with business stakeholders and technology stakeholders and provides subject matter expertise on business processes, workflows, and related systems.

    + Identifies and translates business needs into clearly defined business requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders; conducts business analysis requirements sessions with end users and documents workflows and related systems processes; actively participates in technology design work.

    + Partners with Lines of business , Technology, Quantitative Modeling, other internal departments, and vendors to ensure solution implementations meet business needs while balancing risk considerations related to policies and internal controls.

    + Actively participates in addressing issues, managing change, and assisting with and/or driving the facilitation of decision escalation and documentation, as needed.

    + Reviews written procedures, training materials and communications to ensure all information surrounding the change is designed appropriately and effectively.

    + Drives user acceptance testing including development and execution of test plans and documentation of results; contributes to planning and actively participates in Management Product Testing for digital.

    + Participates in implementation and post-implementation planning and monitoring activities, providing input and support to business stakeholders and the project team, as needed.

    + Keeps abreast of industry developments including changes in regulations and technology.

    + Comprehensive knowledge of banking functions and regulations.

    + Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and practices.

    + Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including technical writing skills.

    + Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations.

    + Ability to utilize discretion and sound judgment in decision making and maintain confidentiality.

    + Ability to effectively drive change initiatives and manage related communications and training.

    + Ability to manage time effectively, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and meet exacting deadlines.

    + Ability to apply strategic and analytical thinking and technical expertise to processes which drive overall efficiency and profitability.

    + Ability to demonstrate initiative and perform autonomously without close supervision.

    + Ability to demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.

    + Ability to demonstrate effective analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and organization skills.

    + Ability to collaborate with various units across the organization.

    + Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.

    + Ability to work extended hours and travel for business purposes as necessary.

    + Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    Basic Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience required.

    + 4+ years of experience in project management and/or business analysis, preferably in banking or financial services, required.

    + Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) or comparable certification preferred.
