Position Overview:

Performs direct and indirect technical tasks for patients before, during and after surgical interventions under the direction of licensed staff.

**Job Description** :

Preferred: at least 1 year of experience using the da Vinci Surgical System and at least 1 year of experience with orthopedic total joint replacement surgeries.

EDUCATION

_Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._

+ Bachelor's: Graduate of an accredited surgical technologists program or extensive experience as a surgical technologist, such as is usually obtained in approximately 10 years.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

+ CST-Certified Surgical Technologist

+ BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

+ Acute care experience preferred.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

+ Must have demonstrated knowledge of effective English written and communication and basic computer proficiency skills.

+ Requires critical thinking skill, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

+ Must be able to work in a ever-changing environment and respond appropriately to complex situations.

Pay Range is $37.45 to $45.63 / hour
