This position is located at Central Office in St. Paul and may have the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.
This position is responsible for delivering professional human resource (HR) services for the Graduate Engineer and Land Surveyor Program (GELSP), including classification, recruitment and selection, compensation, and staffing. The position also provides backup HR support to Career Pathway Programs (CPP) staff as needed. The position also serves as the GELSP operations coordinator, ensuring trainees receive the necessary materials, documentation, and training to meet all program milestones. In addition, the position also contributes to CPP HR special projects aimed at developing and refining GELSP personnel procedures, policies, operation standards, and processes, and serves as a CPP recruiter.
30% travel in Spring and Fall for recruitment events is required.

Minimum Qualifications
+ A bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or a closely related field; **OR**
+ One year of professional (MAPE 05L or higher) experience in Human Resources; **OR**
+ Two years of technical experience in Human Resources or a related field.
Applicants must also demonstrate:
+ Experience researching, evaluating, and analyzing information.
+ Experience preparing and communicating information in writing.
Valid Class D Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with recruitment and/or vacancy filling.
+ Previous experience with collective bargaining agreements and plans, particularly MGEC.
+ Advanced SEMA4 experience and Recruiting Solutions experience.
