Position Summary
We are seeking **experienced Knuckle boom Operators** to join our disaster recovery team in Florida. Operators will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of knuckle boom trucks in debris collection, hauling, and site clearing projects following hurricanes, storms, and other emergencies.
This is a **full-time, temporary position** that requires flexibility, long hours, and the ability to mobilize quickly during storm season or other disaster events.
Key Responsibilities
+ Operate knuckle boom trucks for debris collection, loading, and transport.
+ Safely maneuver equipment in residential and commercial areas, often in challenging conditions.
+ Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring equipment is in safe operating condition.
+ Follow all Ceres, DOT, OSHA, and project-specific safety protocols.
+ Coordinate with ground crews, drivers, and supervisors to ensure timely and efficient debris removal.
+ Maintain accurate logs and promptly report any mechanical or safety issues.
+ Support emergency response projects, which may include extended hours, weekends, and travel.
Qualifications
+ Previous experience operating knuckle boom trucks in construction, disaster recovery, or related industries.
+ Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
+ Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background check, drug test, MVR).
+ Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
+ Willingness to travel and work extended hours in disaster recovery environments.
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to sit, stand, and operate equipment for long periods.
+ Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
+ Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
