What You'll Do

+ Assists the anesthesia team prior to, during, and after patient procedures in any location anesthesia is provided across Novant Health

+ Proficient in sterilization, maintenance, packing, and resupply of the most complex anesthesia supplies and emergency equipment

+ Has significant patient contact while assisting in procedures and works collaboratively with the anesthesia team, nursing staff, and off-site resources

What We're Looking For

+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

+ Experience Required: One year of previous experience preferred but not required, preferred.

+ Licensure/Certification: RQI Responder – must obtain within 90 days of hire, required.

+ Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Understands and practices the importance of proper cleaning and disinfecting of anesthesia equipment; inventory and ordering ability in order to meet supply and demand; some knowledge of anesthesia equipment and medical terminology.
