Job Summary
The Senior Business Reporting Analyst supports Operating Room (OR) financial and supply chain accuracy by analyzing, validating, and maintaining charge data, item master records, and physician preference information. This role works closely with clinical, supply chain, and revenue cycle teams to ensure accurate reporting, item setup, and system integrity across Infor, Epic, and Excel-based tools.
Key Responsibilities
+ Miscellaneous Charge Review
+ Review and analyze miscellaneous charges for products used in the Operating Room that are not yet built into the system.
+ Validate usage, pricing, and documentation to ensure accurate billing and reporting.
+ New Item Setup & Review
+ Review newly added items for accuracy and completeness.
+ Gather and validate required information such as charge codes, HICKS/PICKS codes, and item attributes.
+ Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or missing data.
+ Virtual PAR Maintenance
+ Assist with adding and maintaining items in the Virtual PAR (Epic), ensuring frequently used OR supplies are correctly listed.
+ Support optimization of OR supply “shopping lists” to improve workflow efficiency and inventory accuracy.
+ Physician Preference Cards
+ Support the review and maintenance of physician preference cards.
+ Ensure alignment between documented preferences, item availability, and system setup.
+ Reporting & Data Analysis
+ Utilize Excel and system reports to analyze trends, identify gaps, and support decision-making.
+ Provide ad hoc reporting and data validation as needed.
+ Systems & Tools
+ Work within Infor, Epic, Excel, and approved online resources to research, analyze, and maintain data integrity.
+ Support system enhancements and data quality initiatives related to OR operations.
+ Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, computer science, health informatics or similar quantitative field, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
+ Experience:
+ Minimum two years in reporting and/or analysis role Healthcare experience, required.
+ Healthcare, medical group specific experience, preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification:

+ Knowledge of healthcare environment as it relates to physicians, medical group practice and hospitals.

Possess a qualitative understanding of data and can provide actionable recommendations. Ability to effectively gather data from various sources for reporting and analysis. Ability to engineer solutions and processes based on design requirements and minimum specifications. Ability to effectively utilize data and system tools available. Ability to streamline and automate processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to coordinate interdepartmental activities, balances multiple priorities, and ensures quality standards. Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPivot, PowerBI/PowerView skills. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.

+ Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Business Objects Universes, WEBI, Information Steward, and Lumira
+ Exposure/experience to SAP Predictive Analytics, SAS, R Studio, MatLab, or other scientific programming language
