    The Staff Paramedic provides high quality patient care and safe medical transport to sick and injured patients in all age groups. Develops a plan of care for each patient that is consistent with approved treatment protocols, policies and procedures. Responsible for the operation of emergency vehicles.

    What We're Looking For

     

    + Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

    + Experience: Prefer at least one-year experience with a paid EMS provider at the Paramedic level.

    + Licensure/Certification:North Carolina Paramedic certification (or eligible for reciprocity). BCLS, ACLS, PALS required. ITLS or PHTLS required within 90 days of hire. Current and valid driver's license and must the meet requirements of the Medical Center’s Insurance carrier. Must meet general hospital driving requirements. EVO is required to drive during emergency situations.
