SAVA is seeking an Installation Specialist I to support the U.S. Army’s Operational Test Command (OTC) at Fort Hood, TX. This role supports IT operations and requires strong customer service, technical skills and a dedicated work ethic. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
Responsibilities
+ Resolve customer questions and issues related to Information Technology (IT).
+ Provide technical assistance to minimize disruptions to computer operations.
+ Maintain documentation and track metrics for all requests, monitored weekly by the customer.
+ Assess problems involving hardware, software, and communications, taking appropriate action or escalating to higher-level IT staff per organizational IT policies or test mission requirements.
+ Provide users with feedback, updates, and status on their requests according to local procedures and customer direction.
Qualifications
+ Active Secret security clearance.
+ Active DoD 8570 baseline IAT Level I certification (such as A+, Network+, CCNA- Security, SSCP, CND).
+ Relevant education/IT experience requirements:
+ High School Diploma or GED: 1 year of experience
+ Associate’s Degree: Experience not required
+ Experience in deploying IT hardware such as desktop computers, laptops, tablets, monitors and printers.
+ Experience configuring IT hardware to resolve problems and installing/configuring operating system images and specialty software on customer devices.

+ Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
+ Ability to adhere to government policies and requirements.
