Behavior Technician – Glendale Unified School District (Floater Position)

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Behavior Technician for an ongoing floater role within the Glendale Unified School District. This unique position allows you to support students across multiple school sites in Glendale, providing flexibility and variety while making a meaningful impact in classrooms.

Position Highlights

+ Pay: $24–$27/hour, negotiable and based on experience

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

+ Location: Multiple school sites within Glendale Unified School District

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide direct support to students with behavioral and developmental needs across different school sites

+ Implement individualized behavior intervention plans with consistency and professionalism

+ Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and behavioral specialists to ensure effective student support

+ Adapt to varying school environments while maintaining structured, inclusive practices

+ Reinforce positive behaviors and promote social-emotional growth

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in ABA, behavior therapy, or related intervention roles

+ RBT certification preferred but not required

+ Must be at least 18 years of age and meet all employment requirements

+ Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different school settings
