Job Description:
The Market Director of Mission Integration advances the health ministry operations and culture in alignment with its Catholic identity, mission and core commitments. This role involves strategic and operational leadership, collaboration, and the integration of mission into all aspects of designated hospitals and assigned medical group and clinical shared services partners within assigned Catholic ministry service areas. The role includes responsibility for the oversight and integration of spiritual care operations, ministry formation, ethics and church relations.
Essential Functions
+ Integrates Intermountain Health’s Missions, values, core commitments, and Catholic identity, collaborating with leaders and caregivers to deepen awareness and advance identity, mission, culture, and caregiver engagement.
+ Works with system, region, and/or local mission leadership and local leadership teams to advance strategic priorities and achieve objectives to advance mission centers of excellence, including, but not
+ limited to, spiritual care services, workplace spirituality, clinical and organizational ethics, and ministry formation.
+ Facilitates formation programs and initiatives. Collects, data to measure impact and participation.
+ Works with market and/or regional leaders to ensure excellence in the delivery of clinical, social and organizational ethics, including awareness of, and compliance with, the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Healthcare Services
+ Partners with enterprise and regional spiritual care Leaders to identify, measure and drive Spiritual Care quality and performance improvement initiatives.
+ Develops team members within their reporting relationship to promote an atmosphere of teamwork, collaboration, and collegiality within the department and across disciplines.
+ Cultivates trusting and inclusive relationships with local Catholic clergy, deanery, faith communities and social service organizations in collaboration with market/region and/or system mission leadership
+ Develops and delivers a mission integration strategy and support for the medical group in the market.
+ Acts as the mission integration liaison and support for clinical shared services that operate and support the respective market.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:
+ Master’s degree in theology, divinity, mission integration, ethics, religious studies or a related discipline.
+ Three years of experience in Mission Integration, ministry formation, ethics, or spiritual care.
+ Knowledge of and ability to apply the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services
+ Well formed in the Catholic tradition
+ Demonstrated ability to establish and complete goals, facilitate ministry formation experiences, gather data, and effectively communicate with others
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience as supervisor or manager in Mission Integration with demonstrated experience leading teams and advancing department goals.
+ Member of the Catholic faith, in good standing with the Roman Catholic Church

+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs. · Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
+ This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
+ Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$50.97 - $78.69
