    Partner Account Manager

    Job Description:

    As our Partner Account Manager, you will establish and maximize the strategic direction and execution of partner sales. Every day, you will maximize sales opportunities, drive business development, establish and manage executive/primary relationships, and serve as a single point of contact with Sage for Small Business & Specialty Solution (SBS) partners, focusing on three main roles: sales specialist, business growth consultant, and relationship manager. To thrive in this role, you must be a business growth consultant who provides advice and assistance to partners to maximize opportunities to build and accelerate their businesses and revenue.

     

    Hybrid: 3 days per week in one of our Lawrenceville office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Present the Sage Small Business & Specialty Solutions partner opportunity to prospective partners efficiently aligned with Sage's product, GTM, and business strategies. Collaborate with the Sage SBS Partner Program Manager to best support the opportunities within the channel.

    • Build and manage relationships with the partners as a trusted advisor and single point of contact with partners within Sage and engage with Sage's SBS direct sales teams to resolve partner customer renewals as needed.

    • Track and communicate key performance metrics such as acquisition revenue, product revenue, pipeline strength, and customer renewal rates, and provide feedback for course correction that allows partners to meet or exceed goals.

    • Manage short and complex sales cycles - often involving multiple Sage products and decision makers through strategic planning and securing the appropriate resources (either Sage or Partner) to best support the opportunity at the optimum point in the sales cycle.

    • Create and execute action plans on behalf of the partner to engage appropriate Sage cross-functional teams to contribute to the partner sales and development efforts. This includes working closely with the Sage SBS Partner Program Manager to support the best opportunities within the channel and align on partner/customer communications.

    Qualifications:

    • Autonomous achiever with 1-3+ years of channel experience.

    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, accounting and CRM software, and business process integration, preferably with Sage software and service knowledge.

    • Demonstrated excellence with an integrated solution-selling approach.

    • 3-5 years of acquisition sales experience, with a proven ability to build and manage pipelines.

    • 1-3 years + Salesforce, SAP, and CRM experience.
