    Summary

    The Lead, Workspace Design Strategist is responsible for managing shared services of Workspace Management and Strategy across the company and providing design services and project management for various facility projects.

    Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Interior Design

    + Conceptual floor plans in AutoCAD for new construction and renovation for capital projects.

    + Manage standard architectural finish standards and maintain finish standard library.

    + Produce small interior renovation construction document sets for capital projects.

    + All other duties, as assigned.

    + Workplace Strategy

    + Lead all space planning needs including management and coordination of an effective and efficient move, add and change program to accommodate customer needs within the assigned buildings while providing a high level of customer service.

    + Lead floor plan design changes through capital project development, completion, and close-out and manage oversite of floor plan updates to ensure accuracy across the Company footprint.

    + Manage the Company furniture inventory, including purchase, tracking and disposition.

    + Development and maintenance of metrics/benchmarking and reporting as it relates to space planning.

    + All other duties, as assigned.

    + Coordination with other Managers in the Real Estate and Facilities Department to ensure efficient processes and the highest level of shared services offerings.

    + Perform other department duties and responsibilities as requested.

    + Travel required across all Company facilities.

    + Utilized IWMS-based project management software to coordinate workflows, track milestones, and maintain accurate documentation across facilities and real‑estate initiatives.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    + No direct reports

    + Supervisory responsibility via project lead/management and cross-functional collaboration

     

    Required Education (certifications, licenses)

     

    + Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, preferred

    + NCIDQ, preferred

     

    Required knowledge, skill and abilities

     

    + Knowledge of building codes and ADA accessibility design guidelines

    + High proficiency in AutoCad and/or Revit

    + High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Outlook

    + Minimum five years of experience in, construction management, and/or interior design,

    + Demonstrated ability for strong organization skills and project coordination

    + Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze, draw conclusions and present recommendations

    + Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal customers and external contractors

     

    Physical demands, environment and schedule

     

    + Primarily normal office conditions with periodic visits to equipment rooms, construction sites or unfinished office space as needed.
