    Position Summary:

    Responsible for assisting the Radiation Oncologists, Registered Nurses and other

     

    Cancer

    Center

    staff with basic clinical and office functions to ensure a coordinated approach to oncology patient care activities. Works closely with nursing team and medical staff to ensure quality patient care in a timely manner

    _Required:_

    + High school diploma

    + Graduate of approved program for Medical Assistant (MA)

    + 3 yrs medical assistant experience

    + CPR certified

    + BLS certification

    + Excellent customer/ patient relation skills

    + Ability to communicate effectively and present self in a professional, courteous and tactful manner

    _Preferred:_

    + Previous oncology office experience

    + State Certification
