As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with controlling access to the facility and help to guide visitors and staff as needed.

+ Support Allied Universal management and the healthcare location staff in maintaining a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
