As a **Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher** in **Kahului, HI** , you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you’ll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You’ll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they’re needed most.

Position Type: Full Time - Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour** **with an hourly bonus of $3.93. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee

Requirements

+ **Valid Driver's License**

+ **Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring**

+ **Security Experience: 1+ years**

+ **21+ years of age**

+ **Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam**

+ **Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)**

+ **NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property**

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or conditions encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries or directions while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Complete logs and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner as required by Allied Universal and site policies.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary, following site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ **At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.**

+ **Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.**

+ **Alarm panel experience is preferred.**

+ **Access control or badge experience is preferred.**

+ Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
