+ Sweep, mop, and scrub production floors to remove dust, debris, and spills.

+ Empty trash bins, recycling containers, and scrap material receptacles.

+ Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and break areas.

+ Wipe down machinery exteriors, workbenches, and high-touch surfaces (without interfering with production processes).

+ Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.

+ Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment safely.

+ Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and PPE usage.

+ Assist with minor facility upkeep such as replacing light bulbs or reporting maintenance needs.

+ Support special cleaning projects during plant shutdowns or maintenance periods.

Requirements

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

+ Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in industrial or manufacturing settings.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.

+ Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
