    Job Description

    Quality Assurance Technician acts as focal point on shop floor. Maintaining services, products, and process quality standards. **Starting pay is $21.80/hr.**

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Adhere to all safety precautions and PPE requirements.

    + Adhere to all 5S practices, keep work areas clean and organized.

    + Complete workstation audits for

    + Picking processes

    + Packing workstations

    + Truck and container loading

    + Follow up on Corrective Action execution.

    + Unknown part investigations.

    + RMA and return to stock processing.

    + Support NCMR and stop ship quarantine processes.

    + Support Non-Conforming Material process.

    + Other duties may be assigned depending on business needs.

    Required Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma, Technical Institute Graduate or Equivalent.

    + Minimum 3 years’ inspection experience with various gauging and equipment.

    + Minimum 3 years’ manufacturing experience with demonstrated product and paperwork knowledge.

    + Possess basic math skills, and ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Certified to operate lifts/order pickers.

    Desired Qualification/characteristics:

    + Ability to read and write in English language.

    + Computer literate, Able to use MS excel application.

    Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    + Ability to work unsupervised.

    + Creative thinking to analyze issues that may arise and create solutions.

    + Ability to respond positively to feedback and implement changes in process and procedures as needed.

    + Familiarity with inspection process.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    + Exhibits strong quality compliance behavior.

    + Ability to interact with Suppliers and internal Customers.

    Physical Demands:

    + Employee is required to stand for majority of daily work, with minimal breaks.

    + Employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.

    + Employee is regularly required to see and observe small handwriting, labels, and components.

    + Requires daily face-to-face interaction with employees on production line.
