Technology Coordinator
Zelienople, PA
Part-Time, daylight shift, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania.
Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.
The Technology Coordinator will work with staff and residents to identify and implement emerging Smarthome and assistive technologies, through the Silver Smart Program, that empower older adults to age in place and improve the opportunity for all residents to enjoy an AbundantLife™. Responsibilities include the implementation of innovative solutions that are available now or can be used as a pilot project through the collaborative support of Lutheran SeniorLife and external entities. The incumbent will be able to identify a need, research available technology solutions for everyday living and implement the solution through a collaborative approach to achieve the desired result for increased independence, lifestyle, functional ability and home safety needs.
Qualifications
Technology Coordinator requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in health related field, marketing, or technology
+ One to two years related experience and/or training.
+ Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
+ Demonstrated awareness of the needs of seniors and an understanding of technology. Able to work independently, successfully complete projects and coordinate activities, display creativity and have strong interpersonal and communications skills.
+ Current State Driver’s license (in good standing).
