    Job Description:

    **Location:** Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Burlington

    **Schedule:** Full-Time (Four 10-hour days)

    About the Role:

    Join the dedicated Electrophysiology (EP) team at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. You will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, managing patients with various cardiac rhythm disturbances and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do):

    + **Outpatient Management:** Evaluate new/established patients with cardiac rhythm issues. Facilitate workup for procedures like CIEDs (Pacemakers/ICDs), Left Atrial Appendage Closures, and Catheter Ablations.

    + **Device Clinic Follow-up:** Perform CIED device interrogations, evaluate remote monitoring, and serve as a resource for the Pacemaker/ICD Clinic.

    + **Post-Procedure Care:** Follow up with patients after implant procedures, cardioversions, antiarrhythmic therapy, and ablations.

    + **Urgent Care:** Evaluate unscheduled/”drop-in” patients requiring device interrogation or acute arrhythmia management.

    + **Inpatient Coverage:** Provide care in the Interventional Cardiology Hold Unit (ICHU) and on the medical floor for the EP patient population.

    + **Procedures:** Perform Cardioversions and Loop Monitor implants/explants.

    + **Rotation:** May require clinical rotation to an affiliated SNH clinic (New Hampshire).

    **Reports To:** LHMC Director of Cardiac Arrhythmia Service.

    Scope and Training:

    + **Training Period:** A dedicated orientation and training period (30–90 days) will be provided, based on your experience.

    + **Team Collaboration:** You will collaborate closely with attending physicians, fellows, residents, and other NPs/PAs to ensure appropriate patient follow-up and care coordination.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + **License:** Current, unencumbered Massachusetts NP or PA License with prescriptive authority.

    + **Education:** Master’s Degree from an accredited NP or PA program.

    + **Certification:** Certification by a national board certifying organization.

    + **Skills:** Proven excellence in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment, along with strong interpersonal skills and clinical expertise.

    + **Experience (Preferred):**

    + 12 months of CCU/ICU/cardiac telemetry nursing and/or Cardiology ARNP or PA experience.

    + Candidates with Cardiology/Electrophysiology and Cardiac Device experience are highly preferred.

    + Advanced practice license in New Hampshire is preferred, but not required.

    Pay Range:

    $133,120.00 USD - $215,000.00 USD

     

    The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
