As an Inspector/Auditor-3rd shift with PCB Piezotronics, Inc, you will be responsible for the inspection process and component dimensional, visual and associated specification verification. Responsible for maintenance of inspection records and component lot traceability. This shift will be 11:15 PM- 7:15 AM.
Additional Duties:
+ With assistance, may performs audits of all Machinists following internal processes and procedures.
+ Under supervision, utilize a microscope to determine or validate small features on a product.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Ability to interact with employees in a positive manner showing commitment to customer service.
+ Responsible for knowing and using current required procedures for processing components during inspection processes.
+ Under supervision, inspects, records and maintains records of product inspection and material verification for purchased and PCB produced products per drawings and other applicable specifications. Demonstrates required knowledge of Safety Data Sheet program (SDS) and component lot traceability. Ensures timely delivery of product to internal departments and customers.
+ Generates, updates, and maintains records of quality control documentation such as Discrepant Material Reports, department procedures, customer and supplier product certificates and their storage and traceability to inspected items. Accurately maintains inspection software for inspection process.
+ Ensures department inspection equipment is within calibration due dates.
+ Ensures department is effectively maintained at all times to accommodate acceptable internal and external audits
+ Maintains records and reports associated with the certified operator program.
+ Performs other related duties as directed.
+ Must be able to work 3rd shift.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Education: High school graduate; or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
+ BOCES Machine Shop classes; or Skilled trade school graduate
Experience:
+ 1 year of inspection and audit experience in a production environment
+ Demonstrated problem solving skills
+ Demonstrated experience in order of operations
+ I nspection measuring equipment knowledge
+ Blueprint reading skills

This position requires access to “controlled technology” as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730 et. seq.) and “technical data” as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
