    Overview

     

    We are seeking aCath Lab Technician,also referred to as a Catheterization Laboratory Technician or Non-Certified Cath Lab Tech . A Cath Lab Technician supports physicians and nurses during cardiac catheterization and invasive cardiovascular procedures. The technician assists with patient preparation, sterile setup, equipment operation, monitoring, and post-procedure support.

     

    Bonus Options:up to $10,000

     

    Employment Type:Full Time –Some call required

     

    Shifts Available:Days(Monday thru Thursday)

     

    Hours:9-hour Shifts – 7:30am to 5:00pm

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

    + Prepare patients, procedure rooms, and supplies for Cath Lab cases, including patient positioning, equipment setup, and ensure all catheters, wires, and procedural supplies are available and ready for use

    + Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols, ensuring compliance with departmental and hospital safety standards throughout procedures

    + Assist physicians and clinical staff during procedures by passing instruments, managing supplies, and anticipating procedural needs in a fast-paced environment

    + Monitor patient condition and operate imaging or hemodynamic monitoring equipment under supervision, reporting changes in vital signs or patient status to the care team

    + Complete procedural documentation, room turnover, and equipment cleaning, ensuring accurate records, efficient case flow, and readiness for subsequent procedures

    Qualifications

    Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

     

    + Requires previous experience assisting with scrubbing procedures and monitoring data, preferably in a Cardiovascular Lab.

    + BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current

    + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required

    Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    + Proficient computer skills

    Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

    + Cardiovascular technician training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
