    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but are not limited to):

    + Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiac Care Unit, including assessments, medication administration, and documentation.

    + Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias and emergencies promptly.

    + Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

    + Operate and maintain specialized equipment (e.g., ventilators, central lines, cardiac monitors).

    + Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.

    Qualifications

    Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers . You must have:

     

    + Current and valid state RN license.

    + Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

    + Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.

    + Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintained.

    + Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.

    + Ventilator management experience preferred.

    + Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification preferred.

    + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
