Estimate Agent Responsibilities:
Candidate will be responsible for reviewing repair estimates/taking calls from our vast network of vendors across the country for our customers heavy duty vehicles, trailers, and forklifts.
A strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures, parts pricing, labor guides, possible warranty considerations, and repair shop procedures/practices in a repair shop either as a technician/service advisor a huge plus, but not required.
Knowledge with Mitchell1 automotive labor guide or equivalent a plus.
Candidate must be able to work in a sometimes fast paced environment while still being accurate and efficient.
Develop working relationships with our customer contacts and vendors and involve them as needed to ensure a smooth flow of information to limit downtime of units.
Communicate directly with customers and vendors when required to clarify repairs or customer questions.
A huge plus if candidate has an education in automotive - prior ASE certifications. (Not required)
Ability to complete work individually or in a team atmosphere.
Hybrid schedule after training period.
Estimate Agent Requirements:
Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
Automotive/Diesel knowledge preferred, but not necessary
Dispatch experience preferred, but not necessary
