    Job Functions / Responsibilities

    Lead and participate in multiple simultaneous engineering efforts for new product development projects:

    + Prototype and design mechanical or process solutions to resolve novel manufacturing issues related to new product launch

    + Design and document manufacturing processes for new product: SOPs, PFMEAs, control plans, layout studies, cycle time analyses, financial analyses

    + Review new product design concepts, 3D models, and drawings for manufacturability

    + Implement process changes on time and in budget for new product launch

     

    Qualifications & Skills

    Required

    + Actively Enrolled in a B.S. Degree in Engineering (Prefer Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing)

    + Proven problem-solving skills

    + Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills

    + Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment

    + Ability to work within deadlines to achieve goals

     

    Desired

     

    + Experience with 3D CAD Software

    + Experience with Microsoft Office Products

    + Previous internship or applicable experience in an engineering or automotive opportunity
