    Objectives/Purpose of Job:

    The job functions and responsibility for the development of manufacturing processes for new products into the manufacturing facility. This position will also support ongoing improvements to existing processes/products and manufacturing equipment. This position requires three to five years in project leadership.

    Key Activities/Responsibilities:

    1. Perform process development and technology transfer for newproducts through design and execution of experimental andvalidation protocols.

    1. Perform manufacturing support improvement projects such as batch size scale-up, product hold time extensions, and other improvements to existing products.

    1. Participate in cross functional teams for project progressionand investigation.

    1. Assist with capital expenditure projects.

    1. Liaison with Technical Services and MOB teams in the development and review of new and existing compounding/filling processes.

    1. Meets and maintains all required training during the year (SOP, EHS, and HR).

    1. Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.

    1. Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area.

    1. Attend and participate in OpEx improvement initiatives such as reducing costs and OEE improvements.

    1. All other duties, as assigned.

    Qualifications/Training:

    1. BS in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

    1. Previous leadership required.

    1. Strong engineering and manufacturing skills in a cGMP environment

    1. Mechanical aptitude preferred.

    1. Able to work quickly and under pressure.

    1. Good documentation, computer, and math skills.

    1. Must be detail oriented and quality conscious.

    1. Good team oriented and excellent communication skills.

    1. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
