Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Computer Lab Technician to join their team. As a Computer Lab Technician, you will be part of the Technical Support Department supporting the Hardware and Testing Teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Location:** Austin, TX
What's the Job?
+ Assemble and perform functional testing on newly designed and incoming boards, including installing sockets, processors, heat sinks, HDDs, and conducting boot tests to ensure functionality.
+ Track the status of tested hardware and deliver it to end users locally, ensuring smooth workflow and timely distribution.
+ Coordinate shipping and inventory logistics globally, managing boards, hardware, and ASICs as directed by various teams to support validation efforts.
+ Utilize protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other tools to isolate and debug hardware issues, resolving first-level and simple board problems efficiently.
+ Support the setup of systems and infrastructure to facilitate the bring-up of new and existing programs, including imaging HDDs with Windows or Linux images and collecting hardware/software data to assist teams.
What's Needed?
+ AS/BS Degree in Computer Engineering/Technology or equivalent training with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
+ Strong background in computer hardware, software, and PC architecture, with the ability to debug boards and perform moderate soldering and testing environment setup.
+ Working knowledge of all Windows operating systems, with Linux experience considered a plus.
+ Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, capable of conveying technical information clearly and concisely.
