    School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

     

    The Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting is responsible for conducting student evaluations and delivering therapy services in accordance with individualized plans of care and physician’s orders. Accurate documentation of all services provided is required.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment

    + Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by state or contract

    + Compliance with all applicable professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Minimum age: 18 years

     

    General Comments: Accepting Clinical Fellows (CFs)!

    + Hours per Week: 40

    + Start Date: 12/15/2025

    + Location: Oxnard School District

    + Setting: In-person

    + Additional Notes:

    + Must complete Oxnard Livescan

    + Provide copies of BA and MA transcripts

    + Client interview required

    Pay Details:

    + Travel SLP: $52/hour (approx. $4,000 weekly pay package)

    + Local SLP: $100/hour (approx. $3,750 weekly pay)
