Description

Maine Veterans’ Homesis an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to serving Maine’s veterans and families. ThePhysical Therapistevaluates and treats residents, communicates with residents, families, physicians and other health team members, maintains documentation of services in the medical record and conducts in-services and training for facility staff in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MVH policies and procedures.

Flexible days and hours, occasional weekends and/or holidays may be required

Requirements

+ Current Maine Physical Therapist License in good standing.

+ Experience in long-term care environment preferred.

+ Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.

+ Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.

+ Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.

+ Basic computer skills
