The Banquet Bartender is responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, anticipating, and delivering guests’ needs. The ideal Bartender comprehends the cocktail/beverage menus, prepares drinks as requested by our guests and serves drinks to our guests either directly or via service staff.

Hourly rate for this position is $31.66

Responsibilities

+ Must have knowledge of a variety of alcoholic beverages, must retain and maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items.

+ Ensures compliance with all health, safety, sanitation awareness, hotel standards, and local laws.

+ Responsible for ensuring high-quality bar sets, service, food and beverage quality and presentation.

+ Check identification for proof of age when required.

+ Respond to guests’ requests in an accurate and timely manner, creating a positive outcome that will result in a memorable experience.

+ Ensures prompt delivery and quality control from point of departure to arrival.

+ Responsible to perform accurate POS procedures and cash/credit handling in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.

+ Attend all required department trainings and meetings.

Qualifications

+ Candidate must have hands-on food and beverage knowledge and a comprehensive, working knowledge of the hospitality business.

+ Must possess strong knowledge of mixology, beverage garnishes and overall beverage service to include liquor, beer, and wine knowledge.

+ Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

+ Highly developed customer service skills; possessing a friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

+ Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple priorities.

+ Serve Safe certified | Unexpired TIPs required.
