    Volunteer Services Specialist Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $19.29 - $28.24 an hour - Full-Time Days, 40 hours per week. Boulder Community Health is seeking a Volunteer Services Specialist is responsible for assisting with the smooth operations of the Volunteer Services office by supporting the Volunteer Services Manager and Volunteer Services Coordinator with a focus on providing excellent volunteer service in support of department retention goals and objectives. Duties include but are not limited to daily interaction with BCH’s active volunteer corps, volunteer orientation and education, and assisting with the staffing of the Information Desk Team with volunteers in support of BCH paid staff. Value Standards in relating to other employees, volunteers, Ambassadors, and the public. •Assists the Coordinator and Manager as needed with new volunteer orientations training materials/media. •Works with and supports Volunteer Peer Mentors and Volunteer Coordinator to develop and maintain department specific training materials/media as needed. •Serves as primary back-up to Information Desk Lead in the event of emergencies, scheduling conflicts or absences as instructed by Volunteer Services Manager. •Assists the Volunteer Coordinator and Volunteer Services Manager with planning and implementation of National Volunteer Week and annual award/ recognition events. •Under the guidance of the Volunteer Coordinator tracks the onboarding process for new volunteers. This includes supporting volunteers and guiding them through the process in order to complete all steps before moving forward. •Assists the Volunteer Coordinator with planning and implementation of student onboarding days in January and August. •Supports volunteers with scheduling changes and flexible scheduling. •Recruits and schedules volunteers for all short-term events and projects. •Works with marketing to maintain accuracy of the Volunteer Services webpage by providing content and timely updates. •Supports the Volunteer Coordinator by generating reports as requested by BCH department heads About Boulder Community Health Boulder Community Health (BCH) is a not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Boulder, Colorado, serving the Boulder County community.
