Summary of the Job:
Hires, coordinates scheduling, develops, manages and leads effective retail roving banker team. Leads Financial Centers in the absence of a manager when there are openings or PTO. Assists with branch operational excellence.
About This Role:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Demonstrates commitment, dependability, and respect for other team members with regular and predictable attendance, punctuality, and agreed-upon schedule of availability. Projects a professional image in dress, manner, communication and focus.
+ Hiring, training and coaching an effective consumer universal banker team that is focused on expanding customer relationships and exceeding customer service expectations when they are filling in for associates per the rover staffing calendar.
+ Responsible for scheduling roving staff per requests from Financial Center Managers; works with the roving staff on individual sales and service goals and objectives. Monitors staff performance and goals; to include developing and managing a Financial Center Manager feedback program; gives ongoing coaching and feedback (scorecards) and conducts performance evaluations.
+ Follows a disciplined schedule of sales and service management routines. (example, sales and service meetings with roving staff and one-on-one observation coaching sessions)
+ Documents and administers promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions, salary changes and terminations.
+ Will be assigned to a Financial Center in the absence of the Financial Center Manager or other positions or vacant rover positions as needed to ensure coverage.
+ Is available to perform the duties of a performance coach as directed by Regional Manager. Duties to include observations, joint feedback sessions with manager and consumer associate.
+ Works with Regional Financial Center Managers and Financial Center Managers to ensure branch operational soundness and efficiency. Completes branch reviews and provides feedback for branch improvement.
+ Other tasks as assigned from time to time by supervisor.
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required
+ College degree preferred
+ 3+ years of related bank or retail management experience preferred
+ Superior written and verbal communication skills.
+ Exhibit and maintain high degree of professionalism.
+ Maintain high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
+ Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels of the organization.
+ Must possess exceptional management and leadership abilities including planning and goal setting.
+ Must have a strong sales and coaching orientation.
+ Excellent follow through and time management skills.
+ Excellent attention to detail.
+ Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
+ Proficient in PC, web and database.
+ MUST possess a “can do” customer-service attitude/philosophy.
