• Dev Ops Engineer II (Contractor)

    Description

    We are seeking a DevOps Engineer II to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves designing, developing, implementing, and analyzing technical products and systems while ensuring operational excellence and continuous delivery.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, implement, and analyze technical products and systems.

    + Perform engineering design evaluations and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and processes.

    + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production software issues.

    + Develop monitoring solutions, perform software maintenance, and implement fixes.

    + Establish standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness.

    + Recommend testing techniques and process improvements.

    Requirements

    Required Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

    + 3–6 years of experience in engineering or a related area.

    + Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.

    + Experience automating software deployment using Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.

    + Proficiency with Jenkins for continuous integration.

    + Ability to work with a wide range of open-source technologies and tools.

    + Hands-on experience with systems and IT operations.

    + Data management skills with a focus on automation tools.

    + Proficient in revision control systems (branching and tagging strategies) using GitHub.

    + Experience provisioning and managing applications in virtual and cloud infrastructures (AWS and OpenStack preferred).

    + Strong scripting and coding background for deployment and network operations.

    + Containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
