Description

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer for a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) to design, manage, and optimize cloud and hybrid IT infrastructures. This role involves working with advanced technologies, supporting cloud migrations, maintaining virtualized environments, and ensuring robust backup and disaster recovery solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute cloud migration strategies, including transitions from on-premises to Azure and hybrid cloud environments.

• Configure and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networks, storage solutions, and security protocols.

• Manage Active Directory and Azure AD integrations, ensuring seamless identity synchronization and security compliance.

• Administer Windows Server systems and core services like Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.

• Optimize virtualized environments using platforms such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.

• Set up and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.

• Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions using tools like Azure Backup and Veeam.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to troubleshoot technical issues and enhance system performance.

• Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives, including server upgrades, cloud adoption, and enhanced security measures.

• Create detailed technical documentation, diagrams, and migration plans to streamline processes and ensure consistency.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems, infrastructure, or cloud engineering.

• Proven expertise in managing Microsoft Azure in live production environments.

• Strong knowledge of on-premises Windows infrastructure and hybrid cloud setups.

• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Azure AD.

• Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, routing, and VPNs.

• Experience with backup and disaster recovery platforms.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
