• Senior Data Engineer

    Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Northern Fulton County, Georgia. In this role, you will design, develop, and manage enterprise data solutions that power Beazer’s Data Analytics platform. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making by building scalable data architectures, reliable integrations, and impactful reporting solutions in close partnership with IT and business stakeholders.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and manage end-to-end data engineering solutions that support enterprise analytics and reporting needs. • Build and maintain Lakehouse architectures using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. • Develop robust ETL pipelines using SSIS and modern cloud-based integration patterns. • Create and optimize data models and database designs to support analytics, reporting, and BI use cases. • Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business insights. • Collaborate closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver integration and reporting solutions aligned with organizational goals. • Ensure data quality, reliability, performance, and scalability across the analytics platform. • Provide ongoing support and enhancements to production data solutions. • Document data solutions and follow engineering and agile best practices. • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable data solutions. Requirements Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse architectures, data modeling, and database design. • Proficiency in Databricks, Azure, Microsoft SQL, and Microsoft Fabric environments. • Strong experience with SQL and Python for data transformation and analytics. • Extensive experience with ETL development, including SSIS. • 3+ years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards. • Experience with data integration and middleware tools; knowledge of MuleSoft / Anypoint Platform or similar integration technologies is a plus. • Familiarity with data governance concepts is a nice-to-have. • Experience working in cloud-based data platforms, particularly Azure. • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across IT and business teams. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
