    Description

    We’re looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms that support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, modern cloud data stacks, and collaborating closely with analytics, BI, and application teams.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data

    + Develop and optimize data models for analytics and reporting use cases

    + Ingest data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and third-party platforms

    + Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelines

    + Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions

    + Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures and data inconsistencies

    + Implement data governance, security, and best practices

    + Document data flows, schemas, and operational processes

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles

    + Strong experience with SQL and relational databases

    + Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools or custom data pipelines

    + Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)

    + Experience working with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

    + Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schemas)

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with tools such as Airflow, dbt, Spark, or Kafka

    + Familiarity with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse)

    + Experience with API-based data ingestion

    + Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices

    + Experience supporting BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
