    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This Contract position involves organizing, scanning, and digitizing physical records to ensure efficient file management. If you enjoy repetitive tasks and are committed to maintaining accuracy, this role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a structured and organized work environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare physical documents and member files for scanning and electronic storage.

    • Operate scanning equipment to digitize records efficiently and accurately.

    • Label, organize, and store file boxes for easy retrieval.

    • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace in the filing area.

    • Identify and address any issues with scanning equipment or file organization.

    • Ensure all records are properly indexed and stored in the electronic filing system.

    • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and project goals.

    • Uphold confidentiality and security standards when handling sensitive information. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in file management or a related role.

    • Proficiency in operating scanning equipment and managing electronic filing systems.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.

    • Physical capability to lift and move file boxes as needed.

    • Familiarity with paper filing and document organization procedures.
