    Description We are looking for a highly organized and personable Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Sandston, Virginia. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by managing the front desk and providing exceptional administrative support. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled in communication and multitasking.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet visitors and clients with professionalism and ensure their needs are promptly addressed.

    • Manage incoming calls using a multi-line switchboard system, directing them to the appropriate departments.

    • Oversee scheduling and calendar management using Outlook.

    • Prepare and edit documents using Word to support administrative tasks.

    • Maintain and update spreadsheets in Excel for tracking essential data.

    • Ensure the reception area is organized and presentable at all times.

    • Collaborate with team members to coordinate front desk activities effectively.

    • Handle incoming mail and deliveries, distributing them to the correct recipients.

    • Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in a front desk or receptionist role.

    • Proficiency in operating a multi-line switchboard system.

    • Strong skills in Outlook for scheduling and communication.

    • Familiarity with Word for document preparation and editing.

    • Competence in Excel for data management and organization.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
