Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Miami Gardens, Florida, and involves serving as the first point of contact for students, staff, faculty, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage a fast-paced environment effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of incoming calls with courtesy and efficiency.

• Accurately transfer calls to appropriate departments and staff members.

• Maintain detailed records of call activity, including inquiries and transfers.

• Provide a welcoming and helpful experience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

• Offer clear and precise information about university programs and services.

• Assist with general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and appointment scheduling.

• Manage the distribution of mail and internal communications.

• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support a diverse campus community. Requirements • Proven experience as a receptionist, with at least 3 years in a similar role.

• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards.

• Strong skills in answering and directing inbound calls efficiently.

• Ability to multitask and handle administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
