    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Opa Locka, Florida. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to oversee property operations and ensure smooth maintenance scheduling and coordination. The role requires a dedicated, detail-oriented individual who can handle on-call weekend emergencies and alternate duties with the maintenance staff.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and manage the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure property upkeep.

    • Coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, repairs, and facility improvements.

    • Monitor compliance with safety protocols and operational standards across the property.

    • Maintain inventory levels for supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or facility-related issues promptly.

    • Prepare and submit detailed reports on maintenance activities and team performance.

    • Communicate effectively with tenants and address their concerns in a timely manner.

    • Assist in managing leasing activities and ensure property management tasks are completed efficiently.

    Requirements • Proven experience in property management or a related field.

     

    • Familiarity with leasing and residential or commercial property management.

    • Strong knowledge of maintenance scheduling and facility coordination.

    • Proficiency in using Yardi software or similar property management tools.

    • Ability to lead a team and manage staff effectively.

    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
