Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting healthcare compliance efforts within a non-profit setting. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care by ensuring adherence to regulations, maintaining accurate documentation, and facilitating key compliance-related processes.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage the compliance inbox, addressing patient grievances and internal incident reports promptly.
• Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to track issues, ensure complete documentation, and follow up on resolutions.
• Assist in preparing materials for compliance and risk management meetings, including creating presentations and taking detailed notes.
• Facilitate meetings by documenting discussions and ensuring action items are tracked effectively.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation for compliance-related processes and workflows.
• Support administrative tasks such as organizing forms and tracking updates for key initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare compliance regulations and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
• Provide assistance with internal audits and reviews related to compliance policies.
• Contribute to risk management strategies by offering insights and recommendations based on tracked data. Requirements • Familiarity with basic medical terminology and healthcare compliance concepts.
• Experience with medical insurance verification and electronic medical record systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in patient scheduling and administrative healthcare processes.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to create thorough presentations and manage meeting facilitation tasks.
• Careful approach to tracking and documenting compliance issues.
