Description We are looking for a dedicated Project Assistant to join our team in Yorba Linda, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in coordinating installation activities and ensuring projects are executed efficiently and exceed customer expectations. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to foster effective communication among all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate installation activities with sales representatives, subcontractors, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.

• Conduct pre-sale site visits to identify potential challenges and incorporate them into project quotes.

• Review incoming orders to identify those classified as projects and manage their scheduling.

• Facilitate project startup meetings to establish clear communication among customers, contractors, and team members.

• Maintain and update the electronic installation schedule for the district.

• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.

• Perform cost-control measures by reviewing subcontractor invoices and managing project budgets.

• Support workplace safety initiatives by collaborating with service managers and field technicians, conducting audits, and promoting safe practices.

• Stay updated on product knowledge, including company and allied products, to better support project coordination. Requirements • Proven experience in project coordination or assistance, preferably in construction or industrial projects.

• Strong ability to manage timelines and schedules effectively.

• Familiarity with scanning, work orders, and administrative management systems.

• Excellent communication skills for building relationships with customers, contractors, and team members.

• Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in workplace environments.

• Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.

• Capability to monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance.
