• Health and Safety Coordinator

    Robert Half Office Team (Katy, TX)


    Description We are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team in Katy, Texas. This contract-to-permanent position is an excellent opportunity to support and enhance workplace safety initiatives while fostering a culture of safety-first practices. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the safety team to promote compliance, manage administrative tasks, and contribute to employee training efforts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the development and execution of safety goals and initiatives to support organizational compliance.

    • Perform administrative duties, including document management, data entry, and tracking safety-related files.

    • Conduct safety orientations for new employees and ensure ongoing refresher training is provided regularly.

    • Prepare informational materials for supervisors and employees to support safety meetings, training sessions, and orientations.

    • Coordinate events for the Safety department, such as organizing meeting spaces, managing attendance rosters, and distributing training materials.

    • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive company information.

    • Ensure personal adherence to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

    • Participate in technical and administrative duties, including certification training, procedure reviews, and safety audits. Requirements • Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and practices.

    • Experience conducting safety audits and implementing corrective measures.

    • Familiarity with occupational safety regulations and procedures.

    • Proficiency in managing safety-related documentation and tracking systems.

    • Ability to effectively communicate safety protocols and training materials to diverse audiences.

    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

    • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
